STEVE WILKS IS JOINING THE WASHINGTON COMMANDERS!
The experienced NFL coach has been brought in as a defensive advisor.
FIRST — THE OPTICS AREN'T GREAT!
The Commanders have struggled defensively all season.
And bringing in another experienced defensive coach at this point is naturally going to raise some questions.
But it sounds like this addition was already in the works.
Regardless, I HOPE WILKS CAN HELP!
PLUS — COULD STEVE WILKS EVENTUALLY REPLACE DAN QUINN?
I DON'T think that's why Washington brought him in!
But if this season continues going downhill...
And the Commanders eventually decide to fire Dan Quinn...
Wouldn't Wilks become an OBVIOUS interim option?
