The Washington Commanders lost 23-17 to the San Francisco 49ers on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, while the final score makes it look like a close game, Washington did NOT play well at all.
The Commanders trailed 20-3 at halftime. San Francisco outgained Washington 303-90 in the first half!
And the 49ers eventually built a 23-3 lead.
YES, Jayden Daniels helped lead a second-half comeback. And I'll give Washington credit for continuing to fight!
But the Commanders cannot keep putting themselves in these massive holes and expect to win football games.
This was another disappointing performance. Washington falls to 1-4-1.
And the Commanders have a LOT to figure out.
