Eagles fans are already talking ahead of Week 1 — but are they getting a little too confident about the Washington Commanders?
Philadelphia deserves to be favored, but I’m not ready to assume this is an easy Week 1 win. Washington has enough talent on both sides of the ball to make this a much tougher matchup than some Eagles fans seem to expect.
Plus, when I look at the Commanders this season, one position group stands above everything else: the offensive line. I believe in Jayden Daniels and like a lot of the pieces Washington has at the skill positions and on defense. But if the O-line can't protect JD5 or consistently open running lanes, none of that may matter.
