JAYDEN DANIELS DESERVES BETTER!
Against the New York Giants, Daniels made a costly mistake late in the game.
I've criticized him for that.
But I'm not going to let one mistake overshadow the good football he's been playing!
And on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers, Daniels nearly led Washington to an incredible comeback!
He finished with 300 passing yards and TWO touchdowns!
The Commanders trailed 23-3 in the second half.
But Daniels refused to quit.
He brought Washington back within six points and gave his team opportunities to win the game!
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough.
And that's what makes this stretch so FRUSTRATING!
Washington finally has a franchise quarterback who can put the team on his back.
But the Commanders aren't doing enough around him to turn these performances into victories.
