The Washington Commanders are making MOVES ahead of their Week 6 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers!
Washington has signed former New Orleans Saints/Minnesota Vikings running back Devin Neal to its practice squad.
Now, this isn't a major roster shakeup. Neal is starting on the practice squad, but I think there's a decent chance we see him on the field at some point during the regular season.
Could he eventually carve out a role in Washington's backfield?
PLUS — the Commanders are preparing for one of their BIGGEST challenges of the season.
After a DISASTROUS 27-27 tie against the New York Giants, Washington has been hearing criticism from EVERY direction.
And I think that noise could be exactly what this team needs.
The Commanders are 1-3-1, and they'll face the undefeated San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 6.
I expect Jayden Daniels, Dan Quinn, and the entire Washington locker room to use the criticism as MOTIVATION.
This is a chance to silence the doubters, make a statement on national television, and completely change the conversation surrounding this team.
Will the Commanders respond in a BIG way against San Francisco?
